Burn the Baby Fat

Burn the Baby Fat - Keeping a Food Diary

We all know that if you want to burn the baby fat, you need to eat right and exercise. One of the tools to help make your transition to eating healthier is by keeping a food diary. A food diary is basically recording what and when you eat and drink.

A recent US study of over 1500 male and female middle-aged participants, published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, found that the individuals who kept a food dairy lost about double as much weight as the individuals who did not. As Victor Stevens, who helped lead this study, of Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research in Portland states, "For those who are working on weight loss, just writing down everything you eat is a pretty powerful technique." It's so powerful that companies such as Weight Watchers International Inc use food diaries as an integral part of their weight loss program.

The bottom line ladies: It maybe a good idea to keep a food diary to help lose the weight and keep it off. Because, if you are aware of where the extra calories are coming from you will be more inclined to burn the baby fat. And by knowing your areas of weakness, you can find a constructive way to deal with and improve your eating habits.
